Cast in a resin-composite, these two trays take the shape of ginkgo leaves joined at a shared stem — the larger finished in a matte black that absorbs light quietly, the smaller in a warm brushed gold that holds it. Fine ridged veining runs the full span of each leaf, catching the hour's light differently as the day shifts. Nested together, the pair reads as a single sculptural object; separated, each leaf holds its own on a shelf or nightstand.
As with most hand-finished resin pieces, slight variation in the gold tone and surface texture is part of the process — no two sets finish exactly alike.

A place for the small things left behind
Keys dropped at the door, a ring set down before dishes, a spare coin that never made it back to a wallet — the ginkgo tray collects these quietly, and looks considered doing it.
