Thrown from a blend of local clays and fired at high temperature, this amphora-form vase earns its sandy, speckled surface from the clays themselves — no exterior glaze applied. The color that emerges, ranging from pale sand to warm ochre, is a direct result of each clay's mineral composition meeting the kiln's heat. Inside, a speckled grey-green glaze pools at the base of the narrow neck, and two small loop handles frame the rounded belly with quiet architectural confidence.
Because each piece is shaped and fired individually, no two vases carry exactly the same tone or texture — small variations in surface color and speckle density are expected and welcomed.

A vessel that holds its place, stems or not
Set it on the edge of a dining table with a single dried eucalyptus stem, or leave it empty on a windowsill where the light catches the speckled surface mid-morning — either way, it doesn't ask to be arranged around.
