The Nick and Nora takes its name from the sharp-witted husband-and-wife detectives of the 1930s film The Thin Man — and the glass carries that same unhurried confidence. Formed from clear glass with a gently rounded bowl and a slender, elongated stem, the proportions are deliberately considered: narrow enough to keep a stirred drink cold, weighted enough to feel grounded in the hand. A shape that has earned its place at the bar through quiet good taste, not novelty.
As with all glassware produced in small runs, minor variation in clarity and stem weight may occur from piece to piece — each one settling into its own character over time.

The glass that earns its place on the bar
The Manhattan is strained, the orange twist curled over the rim, and the glass — slender-stemmed, cold at the bowl — is already doing its job before the first sip. It sits there looking like it has been on that bar for decades.
