It holds a weekend's worth of clothing, a laptop or tablet, and the usual extras, and it's sized to meet carry-on requirements. The body is lined in durable nylon, the handles are rolled leather, and the shoulder strap adjusts and detaches when you don't need it.
The exterior is cut from thick cowhide in British Tan. The surface has a matte finish with visible natural grain variation. Each hide carries its own tonal character, and slight differences in shade and texture from unit to unit are inherent to the material. Buckles, rings, and a long-throw zipper are all finished in brass tone. The top zip is a double-pull with leather zipper pulls, and the shoulder strap attaches at side D-rings via swivel clips. The leather will darken at creases and deepen at the handles over time. That's not wear, that's how this material develops its character. The more you travel with it, the better it looks.
