About This Piece
This is a porcelain vase with a volcanic glaze that bubbles and pocks across the surface, leaving a coarse, crater-textured finish in a deep charcoal tone. Because the glaze is not water-tight, it is designed for dried arrangements only: dried grasses, seed heads, or a single preserved stem work well. It comes in three silhouettes, Round, Tall Bottle, and Small Bottle, that share the same finish and sit naturally together as a group.
The exterior is finished with a volcanic glaze that bubbles and pocks during firing, producing a coarse, pitted surface with visible craters and raised texture throughout. Available in Round, Tall Bottle, and Small Bottle shapes. All three share the same deep charcoal crater-glaze treatment, so they work on a shelf individually or grouped as a set. The glaze is not water-tight. This vase is intended for dried botanicals, dried grasses, seed heads, or preserved stems. Do not fill with water.
