About This Piece
This bath mat is woven from hand-spun cotton on a loom in Ethiopia. The natural off-white ground is anchored at one end by a band of navy ribbed stripes, and the slightly uneven woven surface is a direct result of fiber worked by hand. Because each mat is woven individually, small variations in stripe width and texture are part of what you get. The mat is dyed with AZO-free dyes and gets softer and more absorbent with each wash.
