The useful details

About This Piece

Soft melange chenille wraps a rounded barrel back and arms, giving this swivel chair a continuous, enveloping shape. A brushed-gold metal base adds contrast beneath the upholstery and turns through a full circle, so you can face a conversation, a window, or another part of the room without moving the chair.

A loose seat cushion rests over layered foam for a cushioned lounging surface. The chair measures 31 inches wide, 31.5 inches deep, and 31 inches high, with a seat height of 19 inches and a 23.5-inch-square base footprint.

One chair is included. It weighs 40 pounds, supports up to 300 pounds, and requires minor assembly.

Why we chose it

Good design, with a point of view

A swivel chair that actually looks like it deserves the spin. The barrel silhouette reads retro without the commitment, the brushed gold base keeps it grounded in the current decade, and the melange chenille means it photographs well and sits well — two things that rarely happen at the same time. Works equally hard as a statement seat or a practical pivot point in a well-arranged living room.
