A candle that already has a retirement plan. This handmade scalloped bowl is crafted from ceramic resin with a custom marbled finish — cream and warm sand swirled through a fluted form approximately 6 in wide. Three cotton wicks and a coconut soy wax blend put in 90–100 hours of work. Available in eight scents, from Buttered Cashmere to Salted Agave, plus Unscented for the purists.

When the wax is done, wash out the bowl and keep it — the scalloped rim and marbled exterior hold up as a standalone decor piece on a side table or entryway ledge.

Dimensions

— Width: approximately 6 in

Care
— Trim wicks to 1/4 in before each lighting.
— On the first burn, allow the wax pool to reach the scalloped edges before extinguishing, to prevent tunneling.
— Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
— When approximately 1/2 in of wax remains, extinguish the candle.
— Pour out remaining liquid wax, or place the bowl in the freezer for a few hours to pop out the hardened wax disc.
— Clean the interior with warm, soapy water and a soft cloth before repurposing the bowl.
